Steps to make a payment

1. Have a crypto wallet

Sheepy supports various cryptocurrencies. To pay, you'll need a crypto wallet that supports the specific currency accepted by the merchant. Popular cryptocurrency wallet options you may find here.

2. Fund your wallet

Ensure your chosen crypto wallet has enough funds to cover your purchase and fund the wallet if needed.

3. Payment

After checking out an order for goods or service, you will receive an invoice from the merchant containing detailed payment information.

Next, you should copy the amount due (1) and the address for the selected currency, then send the funds from your wallet. Additionally, if your wallet supports this functionality, you can make a payment using a QR code (3).

Invoice details

• Price: Amount to send before fees
• Currency rate: Actual cryptocurrency rate
• Taxes: Additional taxes applied to the transaction
• Network fee: Fee for processing the transaction over the selected cryptocurrency network
• Service fee: Fee charged by the service provider.

Additional tips for a smooth checkout experience

• Double-check the crypto address (1): Before confirming the transaction, ensure the displayed crypto address matches the address provided by the merchant
• Double-check the Destination tag (2) if you choose XRP for payment: The Destination tag acts like an extra label that helps identify which specific account the XRP should be credited to
• Ensure you are sending cryptocurrency to the appropriate network
• Understand transaction fees (3): There might be fees associated with crypto transactions. Check with your wallet provider and the merchant for any potential fees
• Have a stable internet connection: Ensure a strong internet connection throughout the checkout process to avoid any interruptions.

Problems you may encounter when paying an invoice

We are committed to accommodating various common mishaps to ensure that your transaction experience is as smooth as possible. Please read carefully to ensure that your payments are processed efficiently and correctly.

We will be able to assist if you:

• Send a payment to the wrong network
• Create a transaction with the wrong coin
• Select an amount and then send a different one
• Send more than one payment for the same transaction
• Send payment long after you've created the invoice.

We will not be able to assist in case of:

• Fixed rate: If you send a payment with a fixed rate after the rate has expired, and the rate has declined in the interim, we won't be able to honor the initial terms
• Incorrect contract address: Using the wrong contract address is a significant error, and we won't be able to proceed as initially planned.

Cancelling a payment

If you need to cancel a payment, here's what you should do:

• If no funds were sent: If you haven't yet sent any funds for the invoice, there's no need to cancel anything. You can simply create a new transaction
• If funds were sent: If you've already sent the funds, time is of the essence. Immediately contact our support team for assistance. We'll guide you through the process of either retrieving your funds or completing the invoice.
