Sheepy is a cryptocurrency payment gateway that allows you to accept crypto payments on your website or app. You can use Sheepy’s API and integrations to create invoices, manage addresses, refund customers, and more. To use Sheepy’s API, you need to create an API token that grants you access to the API features. An API token is a unique string of characters that authenticates your requests to the API.
Here are the steps to add a new API token:
1. Log in to your Sheepy account. If you don’t have an account yet, you can sign up here.
2. Click on the “Integration” tab in the left menu.
3. Click on the “API integration” tab to access the API features. You can create, manage, and delete your API tokens from this page.
4. Click “Add new API token” button.
5. Enter a name for your token. This will help you identify it later. Copy and save your API key somewhere safe. You will need it to integrate Sheepy with your website or app.
6. Select the permissions you want to grant. You can choose from:
- Create invoice: Allows you to create invoices for crypto payments.
- Invoice get: Allows you to get information about existing invoices.
- Address get: Allows you to get information about existing addresses.
- Order status: Allows you to get information about the status of orders.
- Invoice refund: Allows you to refund customers for crypto payments.
- Address create: Allows you to create new addresses for crypto payments.
Add allowed IP addresses to the White IP list if needed. This will restrict the access to your token only to those IP addresses.
You can also view, edit, or delete your existing API keys from the same page. Click the “Save changes” button.
That’s it! You have successfully added a new API token on Sheepy.
You can edit or delete an API token by clicking on the appropriate icon.
Now you can use it to accept crypto payments with Sheepy’s API and integrations.
