Sheepy verification guide

As a regulated payment processor, we are required to verify the identity and legitimacy of our merchants through our Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes.

Here's a quick overview of our verification process:

1. Log in to your Sheepy account and navigate to the verification section

2. You will be directed to our verification partner, Sumsub, to complete the process.

3. Provide your company information and upload the required documents to initiate the KYB check.

Here are the documents required for successful KYB verification:

• Certificate of incorporation/registration
• Recent excerpt from a state company registry
• Certificate of incumbency
• Certificate of good standing
• Memorandum/articles of incorporation/association/registration
• Shareholder registry
• Statement of information
• Recent excerpt from a state company registry
• Certificate of incumbenc
• Memorandum/articles of association

4. Once the KYB check is completed, you will be prompted to complete the KYC check.

5. For KYC, you will be required to provide personal information and upload a photo ID, proof of address, and a liveness selfie.

Here are the documents required for successful KYC verification:

• Official government ID document or digital ID document (passport, personal ID card or residence permit card, national passport or driving license)
• Proof of residential address (bank statement, utility bill, tax return, or other extracts or certificates of residence issued by a public authority)
• Liveness selfie

6. Once the KYC check is completed, our team will review and verify the information provided.

7. Once verified, you will be notified and can begin using Sheepy's services in production mode.

Additionally, we may ask for further information, such as initial funding of the company, UBOs source of wealth, proof of the actual business address, corporate ownership structure chart, corporate bank statements, and other information about business activities.
